RIDER GA
GENERATION ALTERNATIVE RIDER
TO WHOM AVAILABLE
This is an experimental Rider available to Customers who intend on installing on-site generation technology as an energy source, and who agree to postpone the installation and receive service under any of the following rate schedules:
Rate 824 - General Service – Large Use
Rate 825 - Metal Melting Service
Rate 826 - Off-Peak Service
Rate 832 - Industrial Power Service
Rate 833 - Industrial Power Service
The availability of this Rider shall be limited to Customers who propose a minimum of 500 KW of potential on-site generation capacity at each Customer location. Additionally, the project must be a viable project subject to review and approval by the Company. This Rider is further limited to Customer locations that can utilize the total electric output of the potential on-site generation facility for at least 4,500 hours per year. Application for service under this Rider must be made before December 31, 1995.
CONTRACT
Service under this Rider requires a contract between the Customer and the Company. The Company will negotiate with the Customer the specific terms of the Contract which shall provide for service by the Company of all the alternative electric power requirements of the Customer for a period of up to five (5) years.
TERMS OF WRITTEN CONTRACT
Upon approval by the Commission of the written contract between the Customer and the Company governing the application of this Rider GA to the electrical load of the Customer, the specific terms of such written contract shall, solely as between the Customer and the Company, be deemed to be a part of this Rider GA.
SUB-RIDER DESIGNATION
Any written contract submitted by the Company for approval under this Rider GA and approved by the Commission shall be filed with the Commission as a separate sub-rider designated Rider GA – (insert sequential number).
