RATE FOR GAS SERVICE
GAS LIGHTING

TO WHOM AVAILABLE

This rate shall be available only to existing Customers for their present installations and those authorized by the Company prior to July 1, 1974, who, prior to the effective date hereof, received gas service under Rate Schedule 232, which this rate supersedes and cancels. If service hereunder is discontinued, this rate shall not again be available.

RATE (Flat Rate - Not Metered)
  1. Gas Lights

    The following rates apply to gas lights not owned by the Company, such lamps to burn continuously for 24 hours each day:

    $12.31 per lamp per month for lamps having an input of not more than 3 cubic feet per lamp per hour.

    $15.85 per lamp per month for lamps having an input of from 3.1 to 4.0 cubic feet per lamp per hour.

OWNERSHIP OF LIGHTING EQUIPMENT

Ownership of any property, whether it be a single light or a gas lighting system of two or more lights served hereunder including posts, fixtures, lamps, brackets and all equipment therefore is and shall remain in the Customer.

MAINTENANCE OF LIGHTING EQUIPMENT

The maintenance of gas lights and gas lighting systems served hereunder shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer.

TERM OF SERVICE

Any Customer requesting service under this rate shall have made written application for such service for an initial period of three (3) years, and such service shall continue from year to year thereafter unless canceled by either party giving to the other sixty (60) days' prior written notice of the termination of such service at the end of the initial period or any yearly period thereafter.

DEFERRED PAYMENT

All bills under this schedule shall be rendered and due monthly. If not paid within seventeen (17) days after the bill is mailed, there shall be added to bills of $3.00 or less, 10% of the amount of the bill; and to bills in excess of $3.00 there shall be added 10% of the first $3.00 plus 3% of the amount of the bill in excess of $3.00.
