Peaking Charge
Volumes delivered to the Customer under this Rate Schedule will be billed to the Customer at a Peaking Charge. Such Charge will range between a minimum charge of 38.28 cents per therm plus a gas supply charge, to a maximum charge consisting of the maximum FERC - approved overrun penalty as charged by any pipeline physically connected to the Company's system.
The Company reserves the right to individually negotiate an agreement with a Customer providing for this service including prices within the parameters set forth above. Any agreement so executed by the Company will be furnished to the Commission for informational purposes.
REVENUE TREATMENT
The Company will credit fifty percent (50%) of the gross margin received from sales hereunder to the Company’s sales customers through the quarterly gas cost adjustment (GCA) filings. The gross margin will be calculated as the total revenue received less: 1) the cost of the gas withdrawn from the LNG plant, 2) 38.28 cents per therm minimum peaking charge, 3) the Customer Charge of $25.90 per transaction, 4) Indiana Gross Income Tax, and 5) the IURC fee.
DEFERRED PAYMENT
All bills under this schedule shall be rendered and due monthly. If not paid within seventeen (17) days after the bill is mailed, there shall be added to bills of $3.00 or less, 10% of the amount of the bill; and to bills in excess of $3.00 there shall be added 10% of the first $3.00 plus 3% of the amount of the bill in excess of $3.00.
CORRECTION OF METERED QUANTITIES FOR BILLING
For the purpose of billing under this schedule, a therm shall be one hundred cubic feet of gas at a temperature of 60° F, at an absolute pressure of 14.65 pounds per square inch, having an average total heating value equivalent to 100,000 British thermal units (Btu). Metered quantities of gas, corrected for temperature and pressure conditions, shall be adjusted for Btu content by multiplying by the average heating value per cubic foot of gas, as determined for the latest monthly period available, and dividing by 1,000.
