Watch Me, Watch Me: Northern Indiana Businesses Among Companies to Watch Awards

Monday, October 05, 2015

“I congratulate each of the Hoosier businesses on being selected as one of Indiana’s ‘Companies to Watch’ in 2015,” said the Lt. Governor. “In Indiana we celebrate successful companies and commit to policies that support and encourage continued growth. We know that most future job expansion will occur with companies like these being honored. They are already having a positive impact on our economy and we look forward to their greater contributions in the decades to come.”

The awards recognize privately held Indiana businesses that have experienced significant growth and are positioned to continue this growth. To be eligible, companies must have between six and 150 full-time employees and must generate between $750,000 to $100 million in annual revenue or capital. 20 companies from 11 counties were recognized this year.

The Northern Indiana companies include:

  • Design Collaborative in Fort Wayne
  • Hudec Woodworking in Griffith
  • Gibson in South Bend

Five other companies were also recognized as Companies to Watch Spotlight Awardwinners. These companies are previous “Company to Watch” award winners that have demonstrated ongoing growth, success and commitment to Indiana since receiving the award. Two of the five were from Northern Indiana: Haiku Learning in Goshen and Impact CNC in Columbia City.
