Poly-Wood Cuts Ribbon in Kosciusko County

Wednesday, April 06, 2016

Poly-Wood, which manufactures all-weather plastic furniture for outdoor furnishings, primarily made from recycled materials, already has a presence there in Syracuse, IN but the new expansion will allow it to meet growing customer demand and streamline the company’s shipping process.

At the ceremony, Robertson remarked on Kosciusko County’s reputation for innovation and entrepreneurship. “Poly-Wood continues to be on the forefront of innovation and its growth is spectacular,” Robertson said. “Today we celebrate that growth along with the entire county.”

Poly-Wood President and CEO Doug Rassi thanked all the officials involved for making his company’s expansion project happen so quickly and smoothly.

The expansion represents an investment of $23 million and will create up to 240 new jobs by 2018.
