Familiar Faces in New Places - May 2016

Governor Pence named Mike Kubacki to the board of directors for the Indian Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). “As the newest member of the IEDC board, I’m committed to working with Governor Pence and the team at the IEDC to continue building upon our state’s incredible economic momentum,” said Kubacki. Kubacki is also chairman of Lake City Bank’s holding company, Lakeland Financial Corp as well as on the board for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He replaces Bob Taylor and will serve the remainder of Taylor’s term, which ends in March 2017.

The Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA) has named Heather Ennis to its board of directors. Ennis, who has served president and CEO of the Northwest Indiana Forum since March 2014, says she is “elated and eager” to begin working with the IEDA. The IEDA is an organization to represent and support economic development professionals across industries in the state of Indiana.

Conexus Indiana, the state’s advanced manufacturing and logistics initiative, has named a new director of community and industry outreach: Bryce Carpenter. Carpenter previously served as executive director of the Marion County Republican Central Committee. In his new position with Conexus, Carpenter will be tasked with strengthening the six Regional Logistics Councils across the state.
