Along the Corridors - Interstate 65

Friday, June 17, 2016

Interstate 65 (I-65) is a major interstate highway that runs primarily north-south and acts as a major distribution route, connecting the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes. Reaching nearly to Chicago at the northern end and terminating in Mobile, Alabama at the southern end, it runs 887 miles crossing through Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana. In northern Indiana, I-65 crosses through Lake, Newton, Jasper and White counties. Because of the many markets and metropolitans it reaches or connects with, I-65 is a major artery for the movement of goods through the United States. Companies looking to locate along this route—whether they are a manufacturer, technology-focused or an office, have many options featuring this geographical advantage and market access.
