Along the I-80 Corridor

Thursday, July 21, 2016

Interstate 80 (I-80) is a major transcontinental highway that runs east-west across the United States. The highway spans 2,902 miles and connects San Francisco, California to Teaneck, New Jersey (in the New York City Metropolitan Area). As such, it’s a major distribution route passing near some of the nation’s largest cities and markets including Sacramento, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Omaha, NE; Des Moines, IA; Toledo, OH; Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; and New York City, NY. In northern Indiana, I-80 passes through all 7 counties that line the northern border. Companies looking to locate along this route—whether they are a manufacturer, technology-focused or an office, have many options featuring both the geographical advantage and market access of I-80.
