  • This is the second investment and expansion in just two years
  • Investing $5.3 million in improvements including a new production line
  • Creating up to 74 more jobs by the end of 2016

  • The company recently approved construction of a new hydrotreater
  • The multi-year project will include hundreds of millions of dollars and create hundreds of construction jobs while underway
  • The new construction is planned to begin in 2017


  • Canada-based fertilizer supplier opens gigantic distribution center in Hammond, IN
  • Announced years ago, the $90 million project is finally complete
  • 89-acre Hammond Regional Distribution Center described as “like having a mini-mine” in the US
  • An earlier phase of the project added 14 new miles of railway and was completed in 2012, the largest rail yard construction project in Chicagoland in 100 years
  • The new warehouse can hold up to 100,000 tons of potash, a key plant nutrient used in fertilizer
  • The new facility can unload 1,200 tons per hour and load 750 tons per hour, which is two or three times faster than other existing warehouses

  • Bluffton, IN-based food manufacturer launching a second Indiana facility
  • Investing $15 million for a new 45,000 sq. ft. plant in Plymouth, IN
  • Expected to be operational in 2017
  • Creating 65 new jobs over the next four years
