  • One facility will be a plastic recycling center which will create over 155 new jobs
  • The other will be a diesel refinery, employing 91 workers
  • Together these facilities represent nearly $410 million in investment
  • Construction will begin spring 2017

Indiana Packers Corporation

  • Delphi-based company building a cold storage distribution center beside its existing plant
  • New facility is a $23 million investment, and will include an unreleased number of new jobs
  • Construction expected to be complete by fall 2017

  • Recently broke ground on two manufacturing plants in Goshen, IN
  • $8.6 million investment in two plants totaling 200,000 sq. ft.
  • Creating between 250 and 300 new jobs
  • First building expected to be completed by March 1st, 2017

  • Florida-based company has acquired the assets and location of United Transportation Group of East Chicago
  • Facility, now known as Lakeshore Railcar Services, is newly-upgraded and offers services such as: rail and tanker car washes, transloading, truck/trailer mechanical repair, hazardous material testing and wastewater treatment
