  • Marks the third Italian acquisition for Lippert in the last 13 months

  • Chinese-owned and Silicon Valley-headquartered company announced it is purchasing the commercial assembly plant of AM General LLC
  • Plant being purchased operates independently of AM General’s nearby military assembly plant
  • New owner said it will retain the facility’s full workforce, and intends to invest $30 million in upgrades in the future

  • Columbia City-based manufacturer that serves a wide variety of industries expanding operations
  • Investing $3 million to add 12,000 sq. ft. and install new injection molding machinery at its current 87,000 sq. ft. facility
  • Adding 32 new jobs


Steel Dynamics Inc.

  • Metal product manufacturer expanding operations
  • Investing $75 million to add new equipment and new storage buildings, as well as improvements to the facility overall
  • Construction is expected to be complete late in 2018
  • Expansion will allow the company to produce 240,000 tons of new steel products each year
  • Creating 33 new jobs by 2018
