Jenilee Haynes PetersonThe Economic Development Corporation Michigan City (EDCMC) has named Jenilee Haynes Peterson as the organization’s new Economic Development Manager. Peterson is a Michigan City native who spent over 10 years working in D.C. and Chicago before her most recent position as the Accounting Manager for the Duneland Chamber of Commerce in Chesterton, IN.

Adam BerryThe Indiana Chamber of Commerce recently hired Adam Berry as the new vice president of economic development and technology. Berry served as policy director and attorney for Governor Mike Pence’s administration. In this new role, Berry’s work will focus on small business economic development and entrepreneurship.

Misty WeisensteinerLieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch appointed Misty Weisensteiner as director of the Indiana Office of Tourism Development in December. Weisensteiner began working in the new position in January. Weisensteiner was previously the executive director of the Orange County Economic Development Partnership, and says that she understands tourism and economic development go hand-in-hand. She says she plans to focus on strengthening that relationship in Indiana, as well as creating a strategic plan to continue to grow the state’s tourism.
