Utility Work Ahead

NIPSCO will be presenting two public open house sessions for the Kokomo Natural Gas System Upgrade project that will begin construction in early July 2019 and is expected to last through 2022. This multiyear project will include installing 77 miles of new natural gas pipeline, installing new service lines and meters at residents’ homes or businesses and upgrading the natural gas regulator stations that serve the City of Kokomo.

This project is part of NIPSCO’s overall ongoing system modernization plan to ensure long-term safety and reliability for customers across northern Indiana.

Project team members will be available to answer questions and provide additional information about the project.

The two options for open houses will be held at the Kokomo Public Library located at 220 N. Union St. in Kokomo on Monday, June 24, from 3 – 5 p.m. (EST) and Tuesday, June 25, from 5 – 7 p.m. (EST).
