Customer Opt Out

According to Senate Enrolled Act 340, eligible NIPSCO electric customers* have the opportunity to opt out of participation in NIPSCO's Energy Efficiency Programs.

Please note: According to NIPSCO's tariff, the deadline for Opt Out/Opt In applications is May 15th of each year. Opt Out/Opt In forms must be received by May 15, 2021, for an effective date of January 1, 2022.

*Eligibility: Must have load measured with a demand meter at a single site with at least one meter constituting more than 1,000 kilowatts/one megawatt of electric capacity from NIPSCO for any billing period within the previous 12 months.
