What will happen to the switch?

The switch is no longer functional, so it will not cycle your air conditioner. If it doesn’t create an inconvenience for you, the switch will be left in place. If you would prefer to have it removed, please call us at 1-800-4NIPSCO. Please be aware, when the switch is removed, depending on the location and how it is connected to your air conditioner, it may leave an outline on the area where the switch was installed and holes from the mounting. NIPSCO is not responsible for restoring the removal site to its original condition, prior to the switch installation.

Thank you for your response.
