Have an emergency?

Natural Gas: If you smell gas, think you have a gas leak, have carbon monoxide symptoms or have some other gas emergency situation, go outside and call 911 and thenour emergency number 1-800-634-3524.

Electric: For any electric emergency including a power outage or other electric-related situation, please call  1-800-464-7726. If you see a downed power line, stay away and immediately call 911 and then our emergency number.

Every day we collaborate with builders, developers, homeowners, business owners as well as key decision makers in all our states; to provide natural gas and electric service to their home, business, or project. New construction is a large part of our overall new customer additions; however, we continue to have success in achieving customer additions from conversions from alternate fuels. Are you renovating or building?

Whether you're converting, adding or removing a service line or an appliance, we can help. Get started by completing a Service Application or call 1-844-809-8921 to place an order with a customer service representative. 

Complete our service request application to:

  • Add a new electric or gas line
  • Add a new appliance, water heater, pool heater, generator

We'll assign team members to follow up with you to understand your needs. Before we schedule construction, you'll need to ensure all private underground facilities are marked (you can do this by doing a local search for a private line locating company), land or lot is within 6" of final grade, a clear path for the lines and meter is available and you've completed the Buried Hazards Form. You may also be required to make a payment or complete inspections.


Move or remove an electric or gas line

If you need to move or remove a gas or electric line, call us at 1-844-809-8921.

It's not safe to demolish a building until you're sure both the electric and gas service is completely disconnected. If you don't, you could be liable for damages. If you're not sure if service has been disconnected or not, it's always best to call us to check for you. Here's how to ensure we're out of your way for your next construction or demolition project:

  • Call us at least 30 days in advance to make an abandonment request.
  • Call 811 to have all public underground utilities located before demolition or any excavation.
