We’re due for an upgrade!
We’re upgrading several key internal technology systems in late June, further enhancing our ability to serve our customers. While this does not directly impact anyone’s utility service, it may limit our ability to schedule some new work during the system upgrade window from June 20-30, 2025.
What customers need to know:
- This does not impact your utility service or customer account access. You will still be able to view bills, start and stop service, make payments and perform transactions as you normally would.
- We are continuing most planned work, as well as responding to emergencies and outages as we normally would.
- Our ability to initiate certain new work is limited during the upgrade, so please let us know as soon as possible if you anticipate the need to start, stop or move service.
- You can still start, stop or move service by going to the NIPSCO.com home page and click the start, stop or move service tile.
- Wait times in our Customer Call Center could be longer than normal during this upgrade as our staff will be using interim processes while the system upgrade takes place.
