MERRILLVILLE, Ind. – This holiday season, Northern Indiana Public Service Company LLC (NIPSCO) celebrates the 13th annual Hope for the Holidays campaign. This year, with generous grant support from the NiSource Charitable Foundation, NIPSCO proudly donated $239,425 to 23 organizations across NIPSCO’s service area. Additionally, employees contributed more than 800 new toys to be distributed to seven local Toys for Tots chapters.
"Hope for the Holidays is special because it showcases the incredible generosity of our employees," said Vince Parisi, NIPSCO President and Chief Operating Officer. "Each year, they go above and beyond with donating toys and finding new ways to make the holidays brighter for families in need. Their passion is what keeps this tradition thriving."
Donations from the Hope for the Holidays campaign were presented to a range of organizations committed to providing food security, sustaining families and housing services. Through these contributions, the organizations were able to provide essential support in various ways, such as distributing coats and winter garments, offering holiday dinners, supplying toiletries and operating winter warming centers for those in need.
