Targeted Grants for environmental restoration and education and public safety training and education
Impact Partnerships provide multi-year funding for innovative programs and projects that are experimental in nature.
Every year, NIPSCO and NiSource employees roll up their sleeves to tag Monarch butterflies and plant pollinator habitat, donate blood, collect warm winter clothing and school supplies, deliver nonperishable food and toys and build houses for local charities.
To support this charitable effort, NIPSCO and the NiSource Charitable Foundation create dozens of group volunteer opportunities each year with April and September the largest volume of volunteer initiatives. During National Volunteer Month, NIPSCO partners with the NiSource Charitable Foundation to give back through volunteerism alongside our Columbia Gas states. Additionally, NIPSCO's annual Charity of Choice campaign is an employee-driven initiative with nonprofit partnered volunteerism across NIPSCO’s service area.
If your non-profit 501(c)(3) would like to explore partnering with us on a volunteer event, please reach out to NIPSCO Public Affairs Specialist, Susana Batres at sbatres@nisource.com for more information.
