Prior to his work with NIPSCO, McCaul served as Vice President, Gas Operations for Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and Maryland responsible for emergency response, operations and maintenance of the distribution systems that provide safe, reliable and efficient natural gas service to almost 480,000 customers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. 

McCaul has more than three decades of experience in the energy industry and has held leadership roles at NextEra Energy, Florida Power & Light (FPL), and Constellation Energy. He started his career in the United States Navy as a Reactor Operator on a fast attack submarine.  

McCaul is based at NIPSCO’s headquarters in Merrillville, Indiana.
