About the RFIs

NIPSCO is in the process of developing its 2027 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). In association with the IRP process, NIPSCO is soliciting two RFIs for currently available resources under the following categories:

1. RFI for Dispatchable Resources online between 2028-2032
2. All-Source RFI for Energy Resources (Including New Technologies) online starting in 2030

The purpose of the RFIs is to identify viable resources available to NIPSCO in the marketplace to meet the needs of its customers.

RFI submissions will be analyzed during NIPSCO’s 2027 IRP. Anonymized submissions will be included in NIPSCO’s portfolio modeling to help it determine the appropriate resource selection for its portfolio. At the conclusion of NIPSCO’s 2027 IRP, we will follow up with counterparties on next steps
